That's great. Should I connect another combo to the second (stereo) output on BOSS ME-8? I will then get the already made sound and I have to connect it to the clean channel of the second Bandit. Is there a way to use both Bandit's distortion in this effect chain? Thank you.

It seems that I was too late for that Stereo Chorus, the owner said that someone made a reservation before me already. :(

Now there's another old Peavey for sale near me:
http://www.bolha.com/oglas383258246/oja ... chorus-212
(Just click on it's photo to see it.)

It's an old 75 W Classic Chorus 212. Does that one have two separate 75 W amps in it or just one 75 amp which runs both speakers? I guess this one has a different distortion sound than the newer Super Chorus 212? Probably not for me, because I'm looking for a Metal tone.

Anyway, you meant that I can connect another amp/combo to the ME-8's (stereo) output - into the clean channel rather than complicating with connections even more, right? :)

Here's the photo, it's small:

The guy want's 270 € for this amp.

I can't find Blackface OR Red Stripe Bandits in Europe. And in the USA nobody wants to ship them here (it'd be too expensive).

Appears To Be In Good Condition......

Past Posts Mention That Model Built Approximately 1989 / 1990.

Recommend You Talk To Owner & Ask Questions Amp's Capabilities.

Speakers don't look original. Make sure they're good ones.

The Stereo Chorus 212 is 130 watts per channel. Yes, it is stereo. The very first model was the Stereo Chorus 400, still 130 watts per channel. Onthe Classic Chorus 212 was just 65 watts ber channel, still plenty of power. I have owned and played all versions of the Stereo Chorus 212.

So which one you like besti?

This one (Classic Chorus 212) has no active EQ for the drive channel. I think I'll pass...

Hello good people! The Stereo Chorus 212 is for sale again (a bit pricey: 450 $), but I think I'll buy it. I have a question though. The four cable method for effects (BOSS ME-8) works fine with my Bandit 112, but will it work with this Stereo Chorus 212 too?
GennyFan wrote: 1st, plug your guitar into the ME8.

2nd, run the EXT OD SEND from the back of the ME8 into the Bandit's INPUT.

3rd, take the EFFECTS SEND from the Bandit and connect it to the ME8 EXT OD RETURN.

4th, run a cable from the OUTPUT (MONO) of the ME8 to the EFFECTS RETURN on your Bandit.
The 212 amp for sale is the newer ('94) verison. Do you think it's worth the money?

Thank you!

Anyone tried hooking the FX via 4 cable method through preamp out/poweramp in on a Stereo Chorus or Bandit? I managed to lower the price to 400 $. And what's the difference betweem Renown and Stereo Chorus? Thanx! :)

Just off the top of my head,

I think:

The Renown has spring reverb but does not have stereo chorus or delay.
The 90's stereo chorus has digital reverb, not sure about the earlier models.

The 90's stereo chorus has the "super sat" tube emulating distortion.

The stereo chorus amps do not have an effects loop, at least mine doesn't.

The 90's (newer, 2nd) model doesn't, but it has two preamp out/poweramp in "loops". I wonder if these can be used for as an effects loop (for four-cable-method).
