Which SC212 do you have?
Does yours have the 7-PIN footswitch plug on it?
I have a 1990/1989 teal stripe version and a buddy of mine has a slightly newer 1992ish tear stripe with the additional tone control. Both use the same footswitch. Any of the SC212 amps that I have seen use the same footswitch. I am not sure about the earily stereo chorus amps.

Re: Peavey Stereo Chorus 212
Does anybody know resistance of those 4 resistors? If there are brown-black-red-gold rings on the resistor it'd be 1kOhm(+/-5%), am I right?
Re: Peavey Stereo Chorus 212
Yeah another 1994 team striper in here. I just paid mine. I hade the regular one but my cousin stole it. So now I think I have traded up. Anyone witch 2 12inch scorpion magnets right? I sean pevey still sells the baskets, so I guess all I need right? Now how about that elusive optional 5 button 6pin reverb foot switch.MarkNZ wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2011 8:24 pmI had same/similar problem with SC 212 (same model with master volume) footswitch, but with the chorus switch. Check out continuity between switch and cable/plug, and that terminal pins in the plug are aligned - not pushed in.
Good luck - as I'm sorry to say that in my case it was the surface-mount socket on the circuit board of the amp that was the problem. They have solid copper connectors from the socket to the board, and probably the plug/cable had been pulled hard sideways, and one of the solid connectors broke (from pin #7 in this case). I was able to solder a wire from the socket to a jumper wire on the top of the board, so a "quick fix" was possible (this might not be possible if a different pin has broken), but to fix it properly the socket should really be replaced, which would mean disassembling the amp to get at the under-side of the board. Not a DIY job unless you know what you're doing.

My 1992 peavey stereo chorus 212 master volume having. will be here tomorrow. Now I'm searching for the scorpions. The seller put 2 v128 emenice speakers in it. So I get this right they were scorpion 4ohm right? it wasn't just the wiring?
