Hey guys I'm just wondering if there's any way I can use my tiny terror's speaker as an extension cab for my classic 30. the speaker isn't hand wired to the amp. would I only have to get a speaker extension cable to make sure the plug can reach the classic 30's extensions jack?

-thanks

Road Trip to Radio Shack...... :!:

Male & Female connections will do the trick.

Female jack connected to speaker.

Male plug connected to power chassis.

Unplug "On-Board"

Plug in "Speaker Cable" from amp to Tiny Terror speaker.

Is the "TT" a tube amp?

If answer is yes.......

ALWAYS make sure when you use the "TT" speaker is plugged into power chassis or Bye-Bye "TT"

what do you mean by plugged in the power chassis? you mean i need the TT to not be plugged in when using its speaker as an extension cab?

Correct.....

Do you want your main amp to power the "Extension"

OR

Are you wanting to use the "TT" as a "slave" (Daisy Chain)?

Daisy Chain = Main Amp Effects Loop "Send" to Second Amp "Return"

Amp #1 will run The Show.

Amp #2 pre-amp will be "Shut Out"

my plan was to use the c30 as the main amp. using both the blue marvel and celestion 30 speakers at the same time. I guess I could either daisy chain through the fx loop or get an extension cable to connect the celestion to the extension jack in the back of the c30.

also I took your advice and replaced my V1 preamp ( closest to input jack?) with an ecc803s tube seems to have reduced a lot of harshness on O.D. channel and made cleans a bit more sparkly. it's a pretty nice tube.

Thanks

Position V1 is extremely important to tone.

V1 Clean pre-amp tube provides @ 85% of tone formation.

V3 Phase Inverter pre-amp tube provides the remaining 15%

And

Critical to feel & dynamics.

Position V2 Overdrive only in use when switch is engaged to.....

"Overdrive" the tube in Position V1.

Tube Amps = Fun To "Customize"

You could just slave the TT off of the Classic 30's FX loop out.

anyone know of any videos that show how to slave amps. my tt doesn't have an fx loop so would i just use the input of the amp with the amp unplugged?

sorry kind of a noob at this stuff heh

Forget @ It.......

Daisy Chain works great with Effects Loop.

Convert speaker connections and use as extension.

Just remember.......

When NOT in use as extension

Re-Connect the on-board speaker.
