Peavey Mace VT Reverb Buzz

The old mace has a buzz in the reverb, when I turn the reverb down it gets quieter then goes off, when i turn it back up after about 2 its gets louder. Any ideas?

By buzz, do you mean 60 hz-type buzz? If so, check for broken grounds, flaky cables or cold solder joints.

Will do,,thanks Deuce,,going to remove the cardboard bottom on the pan and line it with copper foil tape as well. Looks like the leads were soldered into the pan it doesn`t have the RCA jacks like alot of them do. Will clean it out and rehit all the solder joints and maybe shorten the lead wire to the head a little in case of broken wires under the insul.
