Peavy ValveKing 112 sounds "Tinny"

Post by Jack101 » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:05 am

I have a Peavy ValveKing 112 which is now about 3 years old. Really like it. However, recently (without any change in my settings) the sound seems to "tinny" and overly bright. Could this be a sign that the tubes are starting to go? Or is there some other issue that I need to address?

If it still has the stock pre-amp tubes in it also, replace them!
