The footswitch wiring is included on the schematic for that preamp.

I have the Mark III Musician 400 with the automixer and phase circuit
It is dated 1978 and is matched with what I don't think is original...a short but heavy cab with 4-12 Scorpions

Going to sell it today for $300 it has the foot pedal

HURRY....you still may have time to get your 99 dollars back.My first amp was a mk 3 musician with a 4 x 12 scorpion cab.The only thing I had going for my as yet to be found sound was volume.In some bass-ackward,proverbial sense ,like when you learn to drive in car that won't stay on the road,get in a new one and looks like you invented driving,same here.I did peavey once more,briefly,and found the MKiii that I play today.jcm 900 mkiii. Just ribbing you about the refund,Peavey makes a durable product and 99 is a deal for anything these days.
