Sorry for all the questions but google isnt helping me much. Do you just remove the metal plat on the back and do it from there or is there a different way. I want to see what it came loaded with. thanks

next question is it normal to have a small "tink" sound when you stop playing?

ya its weird when I turn it on and its waarming up it makes ticking sounds and same when I shut it down. amp sounds good but I never heard this when I used my friends 6505 head or anyother tube amp I have used.

sounds like the valves heating up when switched to on and cooling down when turned of , nothing to worry about all my tube amps do this , you might not have noticed it with other amps you tried due to some other background noise going on , cheers
