The dreaded PAS Disease

Post by pvholic » Sat Jan 08, 2011 3:20 pm

Peavey Aquisition Syndrome: "Always having one short of too many Peavey's"

It's a disease I tell ya!! There is no cure and no treatment either.

Before Christmas I bought yet another 1989-1991 Falcon Custom, and yes my second Purple one. Then I found a very, very clean VSS 20 double stack for $99 and just received yesterday, a NOS USA H.P. Signature Select in a gorgeous trans red on African Mahogany with the Alligator like OHSC.

Gorgeous guitar!

Can we get a close-up of the body so we can better see how the grain looks through the trans red finish?
Signature? What signature?

Just enjoy the disease. There are far worse things each of us could be addicted to.

How many Peavey's do you need? Just one more... :D

I only played it out of the box and no amp. I like to hear them naked first. The neck suprised me as it is not a standard Peavey neck, but it feels great to me, in my hands. I'll get to it, hopefully soon. It feels like a lot of effort to prove that THIS IS a premium Guitar. I'm really looking forward to go over it and plugging it in to my Classic 50 410.

I'll give you and honest opinion asap.

It seems to be catching.

I just picked up another T-60 for Christmas. That makes 3... and counting.
