Did the search, nothing found in the forum.
My local mom'n'pop retailer had one in a few months ago....shades of Alvin Lee....cherry red, immaculate with the case&case candy. Didn't take it b/c he wouldn't deal....consignment deal, had no leverage.
Played great, though....I know it was an import model(made in China), but damn...sounded/played great. help me out here?

A heavy guitar doesn't bother me......the cherry red example I "test-drove" had the standard tune-o-matic/stoptail, didn't really seem excessive in weight(actually felt a bit light comapred to a genuine ES-335, still played great).
I'm guessing with this being an import model, it has Alpha pots and mylar caps? Curious as to what magnets the stock pups have, and output levels.

If you click the "Downloads" tab on the product page, you can find a detailed spec sheet which includes neck dimensions, pickup info, controls, etc.
