hi!
i just want to know how much is the output level of the Palaediums pickups.
Some reviews said that its on the lower side, but in the manual talks about "High output pups"
I read some about been designed by Bartolini, and often the bartolinis are very low output and requiere a preamp to get some balls..
thanx

Palaedium Pickups
Re: Palaedium Pickups
Mine is very hot. I have had people tell me my bass had to be active, as the output was so high.
A great bass. It's passive.

Re: Palaedium Pickups
Yes they are on the hot side. Of course pup adjustment can make or break the sweet spot. I never should have sold mine.
Trust this and forget the "Guesstimaters", those I heard, or Somebody told me's.

Re: Palaedium Pickups
I would like to say that my Palaedium has the least powerful pickups of any Peavey bass I own.
I have also set the pickups closer to the strings than the others just to get it to a normal output. It sounds good to my ears, I just have to turn the amp louder, thats all.
