PV1600 TO SP2 FULL RANGE MODE

Post by TRENTGSTL » Mon Feb 28, 2011 10:28 pm

I have been on here before asking about cables for my PV1600 and had some Speakon to (1/4' high, 1'4 low) cables made.

Here is my question. I bought another PV1600 for backup and wanted to know if I can run the PV1600 to my SP2's using the Full Range option. It is important because in a bind I want to be able to hook up any old speaker without bi-amping if I have to. Is the wiring different if we run full range mode?

Well there is simply no way to by-pass the X-Over section, so it can not be used full range. The good news for you, is that you can now bi-amp in Stereo.
