I have a MacBook computer. Wondering if I can plug my mixer directly into the computer to record our next show? Would assume if so, I would need USB to USB cord?
I do have the program Garage Band installed on my computer.
As a side note, I am a 56-year-old father, who got talked into purchasing and running the board for my son's band. Have been running it (by trial and error) for the last 1.5 years.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

YES , you can record the Main Left and Right outputs through the USB connector on the back of the console. I use Audacity as the recording software.

Re: Peavey FX 24
Thank you much Wooferhound...went and picked some brains at the Guitar Center in Appleton, WI today.
Will give it a try on Saturday...fingers are crossed!
I read through the postings you suggested, some of the things I already do, closing my eyes, blocking things out and concentrating on certain instruments...seems to work pretty well!
It is truly trial and error, got involved because my son asked, after 2 gigs they wanted to kick me to the curb, had a friend of their's do it that 'actually knows what he is doing.' I watched and learned somethings from him, have been back at the board ever since.
Thanks again, and any suggestions are always welcome!

I used Adobe Audition, might be because i have a radio background. Just another option for programs.
