PCX-U1002

Post by gityup » Sun Apr 19, 2015 10:48 am

We bought 3 of the Peavey PCX-U1002 wireless hand helds and love them. Only thing, since the day we got them, one of them keeps shutting down or not turning on. We then take the batteries out, put them back in, and it has so far restarted. This is not a good thing when we are in the middle of a concert however and we need to find out if it has happened to anyone else and what they did to fix this.

I have found that all 9V batteries are not the same size exactly. Does this Mic use 9V or AA?

If 9 Volt, put a small piece of folded over business card behind it. This work on a previous model.

Looks like this microphone uses two AA batteries in the handheld transmitter.

I would say if you have problems with just one and you just purchased this microphone, I would return it to the place I bought it and get a replacement. If it is too late for that, I would contact Peavey customer support for warranty repair.
