do all of the vip's have the "Mojo"

Post by Agileman » Thu Jun 20, 2013 9:52 am

I've read about the vyyr 75's "Mojo", ie great sound/tone versus the other ss vypyrs. Is it similiar with the vip's? I mean does one vip sound better than all the rest, or do they sound the same as the cabs are specially designed and ported? For example, does the vip1 sound the same (at a comparable wattage/volume level) as the vip2?
I guess what I'm asking is, which one has the mojo if any?
My ponderings on a future purchase of a vypyr 75 or a vip2.

Don't reckon the old Vypyr 75 particularly had more "Mojo" than the Vypyr 30 - the speaker just seems to have a bit more bottom end and it has the (largely useless) power sponge. Had both (& a Vypyr Tube 60 which was the best but not by much) and still got my 30 only.

Agileman...not sure if you had an opportunity to read my review of the new VIP 3. I have an original Vypyr 75, and the new VIP 3 is a major improvement. See my review, somewhere on this forum, below.
