Thanks for taking the time. I'll be taking my Tube 60 apart this weekend in prep for this. I'll also be making a T60 head out of the combo so I'll tackle both at once if I can.

I'll also take pictures as I go and see if I can add them to your write up for others to have as reference material.

That will be cool. Thanks! By the way if anyone is feeling overwhelmed by this project after viewing my "how to", and you really, really still want to do it, we can probably work something out.

All,
Sorry for the wait. Was busier than I expected. Will need a little more time on the "How Too". Going to shoot for Monday or Tuesday.

Ok, finally it is here. It took me three tries to upload this thing. Had to shut down some stuff that was eating up my band width  Hope this is some help. You may find some "duh, I already knew that" moments in there, but I wanted to make it where a newbie might find the courage to do this if they could muster the bravery. Feel free to ask questions and by all means if you have suggestions I am open to those as well. Again If you don't think this is something you want to do yourself then email me and we will see if we can't work something out. Enjoy.

Many thanks for posting the details of what looks to be a relatively simple to fit yet ingenious mod. I have been hoping that someone would have the know-how to devise such a mod so that I can run a global master tone control (a graphic , parametric or simple guitar-like tone pot) between pre and power amps or to insert a digital delay or maybe my univibe type effect that I built here too. Another use of the FX loop for me is to run a line out here to the drive my Peavey Classic 60/60 tube power amp feeding a 2x12 Marshall cab (without suffering the awful speaker sim the rec out jack has to offer) or to run into my Line 6 UX1 and then to say Revalver or Pod Farm 2 using their speaker cab sims and FX for recording purposes into Sonar. My stomps and midi modded Vypyr 15 is going to get a whole load more use now !!!!! Many ,many ,thanks for this - it is very much appreciated !!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to do this. I know you had to go to a lot of time and effort to set everything up, take the pictures, write the text, and then produce the PDF. Very nice!

Sweet, This is exactly what i was eyeballing my next mod! How did you find the amp modeling sounded using these effects overall? Fairly accurate?

Ok, I got to be honest. I am a low budget player with relatively little resources for my guitar hobby. This is why the Vypyr series was so attractive to me. So to answer your question in regards to accuracy, I think it remains true enough to what the vypyr produces it's self and I find that I am able to push boundaries of the amp by applying new effects to the signal path and achieve some really great tones. However, if you are looking for accuracy to a Marshall plex, or other famous amp, I going to say a big maybe. It seems that If you couldn't get the sound you wanted before than this mod may help get you there. Hope this helps

Yea Im curious to see. I'd like to get my jamman looped into this right about there and some other things and maybe can make this sound just a tad juicer.

Just wanted to throw this out here I have I believe a slightly different version of this board. I will edit and add links to pictures. Wondering if you have a photo of your boards however.

To Fyoory:
Yeah, this looks like the bottom of what I call the un-shrouded board. I didn't take photos of the bottom side of this board because it was already installed in my amp and I was feeling lazy. Sorry about that. Most of the pics and one video were of the shrouded board because I had a junk one from another amp laying around, so naturally I used it as my example for pictures. However, the pics you posted are nice close up shots. I can see Resistor 82 as plain as day tucked between R91 and R77. The advantage to this board is that the resistors are spaced a little further apart and easier to get tweezers on and wires soldered here don't have to loop over the edge of the board to make connection with the terminal strip. All soldered connections stay on one side. The disadvantage is that it is a little more crowed to make the solder connection due to it being sandwiched between two resistors unlike the shrouded board that puts R82 on the outside edge of the DSP board. The connections are still made the same. Be sure to follow the send return location drawing for the un-shrouded board to know which side of the resistor is send and return. I will try to post a pic of my other board later though I don't know if there is much to see due to the epoxy over the soldered connections.
