I downloaded the software but can not find the syx file

Did you download both the Vypyr Updater v3.01 and the Vypyr Firmware v1.62?
Run this first then run the Vyper edit software. The firmware v1.62 is the syx file.

WARNING: Do not install this firmware on older generation Vypyr models. It is for Vypyr VIP models only.
