Can you make these guitar sounds with this peavey amplifer?

Post by christyu » Sat Aug 15, 2015 1:18 pm

Hey guys I'm still a mediocre guitar player not used to using the amplifer. I'm currently using 2013 mim fender stratocaster with hss setting and Peavey Vypyr 15 Modeling Amplifier.

I've tried to mess around with the setting and can't get the sound like this video.

Am I doing something wrong or do I need more stuff?

You should be able to get that tone with your vypyr :)

Try using the 6505 amp on the green channel, with the gain about 3/4 of the way up, or the red channel with the gain about 1/4 of the way up.
