You will only get a serial from seller. It will be enough to get license.
I can sell mine :D

According to the license agreement, you can't sell Revalver, so you won't be able to find/register a used copy.

If you installed it, you agreed to the EULA.

Yeah well you have to authenticate with Peavey on a new computer.
You can't just run with the serial.
You will have issues of mis-selling with the purchaser.

Authentication is buyer's problem. After uninstalling any software you should have been cleared about agreement i suppose.
Also authentication server doesn't include any condition if you install the DEMO on a public PC and copy the installed files and use the serial there to get you unique license file you should be free of selling. Am I wrong?
( Since I am also using my Revalver Mk III to run my ex projects, i am not selling 8) )

Exactly, never read or saw a EULA when it was installed back in the day. Besides revalver is sold, not leased or rented out and we have rights as a consumer, just like the 1st sale act.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-sale_doctrine

It pretty much covers what Dale says, as long as you uninstall it before selling or dont distribute it as under the copyright protection act.

Hmmm, lotsa answers, so much easier with ilok, just buy ilok transfer from previous owner, do it all the time on ebay. so peavey can just tell me to get stuffed if I try to register and activate it unless I can prove the seller has removed it from his daw....ok how about this its on sale at most outlets for $250, I have a guy that will sell me his 2 month old copy for $105, peavey would probably like to have that money, so lets have a sales/service rep contact me and sell me a copy for $105, just PM me I won't tell anyone, and it'll help the company make someones paycheck this week.

yeah thats funny, kinda highlights a few points though on why peavey tell you that you cant resell.
