Get ready to unleash your inner Rock Star and tune in to watch the new VH1 Classic show, "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp," featuring longtime Peavey artist Rudy Sarzo.
"Most reality shows are made-up, but this program is about a real camp that takes place every year in New York, Los Angeles and other cities around the world," Sarzo said. "The series is filmed in LA with Mark Hudson, Kip Winger and me as counselors to 15 campers. It was the most rewarding experience."
In the series hosted by Carrie Keagan, VH1 Classic and executive producer Mark Burnett take viewers on the adventure of a lifetime as fifteen musicians from a variety of backgrounds and cities are transformed into true rock stars.
Broken into three groups of five, each group of campers is assigned a rock star counselor who will give tough love and guidance to the wannabe rockers, transforming nice, quiet guys into loud, sexy front men. For one week these truck drivers, teachers and dads will form bands, rehearse and learn the ropes from other rock gods who drop by including Ace Frehley, Michael Anthony, Bret Michaels and many more.
With the music know-how, fresh looks and rock star swagger in place, the stakes couldn't be higher as the transformed musicians take the stage to perform before a live audience. Fans will pick the best band, giving them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with a legendary rock artist.
Watch the show on VH1 Classic every Saturday at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and keep an eye out for the special guest star in every episode: Peavey Gear - including bass rigs from the award-winning Tour™ Series and Pro Series!
