Classic British crunch with patented Texture™ tone shaping.
"Numerous manufacturers have attempted to build a low-cost all-tube head that produces authentic British tones, but the Peavey Windsor is the first that truly delivers on the promise. Its midrange barks like the hounds of the Baskervilles, its lows track without compromise and its signal easily sustains into harmonic feedback. Look no further." --Eric Kirkland in the December 2007 issue of Guitar World
Windsor™ Series Head: A British steal! The 100-watt, single-channel Windsor guitar amplifier infuses the sought-after tones of rock music's golden era through exclusive Peavey technologies and a three-12AX7, four-EL34 tube configuration. The patented, fully adjustable Texture control adjusts the power amp from modern class-A/B push-pull tones to vintage class-A sounds for an incredible range of tone texturing and coloring.
Windsor™ 412: With a quad of specially voiced 12" speakers, the Windsor 412 handles 300 watts into 16 ohms and offers slant and straight configurations.
Windsor™ Studio: Get overdriven-tube tone at any volume -- and with any tube -- in this genuine class-A marvel. Armed with both preamp and master volume, you can dial up subtle overdrive or a raucous rock-out, with righteous saturation just a touch away (courtesy the boost button). The Windsor Studio also has an on-board speaker-simulated direct output and the Power Sponge™ attenuator, which adjusts the output level while maintaining the distortion characteristics you dial in at any volume level. When you want a different tone, just switch out the tubes on the power amp. No rebiasing required!
