What is your opinion of this product?
The Peavey Butcher is a Classic. The Affordable Classic tone of the 80s. But the Butcher II is even better with more features and can sound either classic rock, modern rock, classic metal, or modern metal if tweaked and boosted correctly. Great amp! I highly recommend it.

What is your opinion of this product?
Hard rock heaven here. Dual master volumes then a boost on each channel!! Has a decent clean to bite your face off. Dial in tone by ear, not by what number the knob is on, a little adjustment to eq can make a big difference. Then there is the punch knob. Can you say versatile!

What is your opinion of this product?
It is so good that I don't know where to start. First of all, it has everything basically that you need. You can record direct out, you can switch from 100 to 50 watts, you can boost each channel, you have a choice of two global volume levels and you get GREAT sounds. It sounds amazing. The clean and crunch channels sound very different but they overlap very well. It is a very dynamic amp that maintains good definition even at the highest gain with boost on. The effects send and return levels are very nice to have. I can run rack effects or pedals through the effects loop without hassle. I did not realize how useful this was until I got an amp that did not have this. The clean can have chime and it can be gained up to have some dirt and then boosted to get even thicker and just a little bit more. It is one of the nicest clean sounds that I have heard. The crunch channel also sounds amazing. You can get good classic rock tones along with heavier classic metal when boosted with the channel boost. The amp takes pedals very well. If you add an OD pedal then you can get even grittier and add a little bit of chunk. This amp is suited for just about every music genre except for super high gain stuff, if you want that then go with the 6505. I would definitely recommend this amp to anyone!
