Overall What is your opinion of this product? This unique mixing console outshines in its fast GUI, individual musician assignable mixe Busses with individual remote controls (secure WiFi Hotspot and LAN), and playback (Bluetooth) access to the mixer without having to download any APP on your device. Multiple operations of channel GAIN and PAN, simultaneous layer operation with multiple faders control onboard and on the tablet/Andriod devices. An immediate glance of channels Gain, EQ, Comp, Gate, Pan, Effect, and Busses. The EQ is lovely in its spice.

What is your opinion of this product? I have experience with five other digital mixers across four brands, and the Aureus is hands-down the best I have used. The 10-inch screen is top-quality - using it feels as though you are using a high-end tablet. Touch sensitivity is perfect, and the screen responds instantly and smoothly. Encoder knobs and the large parameter knob make changes quick and accurate. Or touch a feature and drag on the screen to make changes. Unlike many other mixers, in the Aureus, all 16 primary inputs are combo 1/4" / XLR. In addition, stereo inputs 17/18, 19/20, and 21/22 have a "mono" feature allowing you to plug in to only one of the paired inputs, and have that input routed to both left and right main outputs. In addition to using this for cover bands in varoius configurations, I also use it to support outdoor worship at our church, and the instrument and vocal lineup can vary tremendously week-to-week. The combo and stereo-to-mono input options make channel / cable assignments on the fly so much easier to manage, as do stock and user-defined presets for vocals and instruments. Fit and finish is to Peavey's usual high standards. Motorized faders, physical buttons, and encoder knobs all feel rock-solid. Wireless access is straightforward and simple, and it is really nice to be able to use any HTML-5 compatible browser as opposed to a dedicated app. The tablet slot on the mixer is a nice touch for dual-screen monitoring, and remote access allows other devices to be used for controlling front-of-house and individual monitor mix busses. Effects are of good quality and easy to assign and dial in. Peavey has made it simple and fast to create and access mute groups, and to mute / unmute effects. The "all mute" button is handy at the end of a service or gig - no more pops from premature cable disconnects. Saving scenes and prests is straightforward, and recall is fast. Kudos to Peavey for an outstanding product!
