Peavey Electronics Makes Waves Sponsoring 2011 King of Wake Series and Wake Awards

Peavey Int'l. Headquarters..Peavey Electronics will be the Official Audio Sponsor of the 2011 King of Wake Series, the most elite pro wakeboarding series in the world. This will be the second year in a row that Peavey has provided sound for the event. During the 2010 series, over 100,000 fans who attended the extreme sporting tour heard the action and entertainment through Peavey enclosures powered by Crest Audio amplifiers.

For the play by play commentary and music soundtrack during each competition, Peavey provided 12 PR 15 speakers powered by Crest AudioPro 9200 amplifiers. Six speakers were set up on each side of the announcer's tower in a line along the edge of the lake where the meets were held. The shoreline party rocked with a main stage featuring live performances by a DJ and drummer broadcast through Peavey's renowned SP 4 and SP 218 loudspeaker enclosures also powered by Crest AudioPro 9200's.

The King of Wake features top pro riders competing in a series of eight events throughout the United States including the Wake Games, the WWA National Championships, and the WWA World Championships.

The season culminated with the TransWorld Wake Awards, which premiered on Fuel TV Network in November and can be seen on Apple iTunes and Hulu.
