January 22, 2015, Anaheim, CAPeavey Electronicsannounces it will utilize two new distributors for the European market. Barnes Mullins will be the new United Kingdom and Ireland distributor, and IMS will distribute the Peavey, Trace Elliotand Budda lines in France. The agreement was confirmed at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, Calif., where Barnes Mullins joint Managing Directors Brian Cleary and Bruce Perrin stood alongside IMS owner Jacky Boissel for a photo call with Hartley Peavey, Peavey Electronics greatly respected founder, and Peavey C.O.O., Courtland Gray.
The decision to partner with Barnes Mullins and IMS was given great consideration. After looking at numerous opportunities with other distributors, we realized that these two companies are best positioned to enhance Peavey and grow its presence in the UK and Europe, said Gray.
This giant U.S. amplification and instrument brand is a welcome addition to Barnes Mullins existing catalogue of exclusive products, and Peavey Europes recent transition to full distribution has been well-documented. To know we will be working with a company able to recognise and address the big changes and challenges in our industry fills me with great confidence. For musicians around the world Peavey is recognised as a truly iconic brand and I cant wait for us to start playing our part in the continuation of Peaveys success, said Cleary.
Boissel of IMS France concurred, Peavey is a key part of our growing portfolio of top-line professional brands, and we are looking forward to getting our dealers stocked up again. In Trace Elliot and Budda we are also further enhancing our reputation as one of the foremost suppliers of high-end/boutique amplification in France.
Initial stock is due to arrive in both companies March/April 2015.
