Peavey

PVX™ 12 Passive Loudspeaker

The Peavey PVX™ 12 is a passive two-way loudspeaker built for live music, PA sound, and permanent installations. Its heavy-duty 12-inch woofer and RX™ 14 titanium-diaphragm compression driver deliver a frequency response of 60 Hz to 20 kHz, with 400 W program and 800 W peak power handling.

Peavey’s Quadratic Throat Waveguide provides 100° horizontal × 50° vertical coverage, directing the main sound energy downward 10° toward the audience rather than over their heads. This asymmetrical design helps reduce ceiling reflections for greater clarity and gain before feedback. A rugged injection-molded enclosure, three carrying handles, and a molded-in pole mount make the PVX 12 practical for portable setups, while multiple mounting inserts support permanent installations. An angled cabinet section also allows it to double as a floor monitor.
