That 2x12 cabinet is made here in Brazil by JaoVox. They sell them loaded or not. I ordered without their logo, anyway. It has has two old Hartke speakers from '80. These speakers are a special run for guitar and Hartke made just about 150 4x12 cabinets for guitar at the time loaded with these speakers. I own one, I found it in England...So I bought the JaoVox 2x12 "empty", took off two speakers from the Hartke 4x12 and replace them with two Eminences.
Thats amazing! One of a kind, Harkte speakers for guitar wow, I would love to hear them at some point
Yeah! They are great and Larry Hartke told me that just about 150/200 cabinets were made for guitar at that time (circa 1984/85). If you got, you got! He told me many producers in USA still ask him all the time about those cabinets because they are rare and sound great. He was wondering how I could get mine here in Brazil. So I told him I had lived in London and found it there.
It is like a tank, very heavy and thick wood as you can see on the link I posted here. Only 8ohms, though. I have no complain about it at all. It is really great and built to last. If you put your hands on, take it home asap!!!

Over on the right is a bass amp I fixed (not mine) and the Tube120 shell with 2 x Sheffield 1290s in it - it's filling in as an extension cab for the Tube 60 until I get going with some more custom lunacy... Gonna move the Tube 60 into the 120's shell (2x12) and do 'er up in white with gold trim.
[insert maniacal laughter here]
Cheers!

Hi, new to the forum.
I have a mid-1980's Peavey Audition Chorus, which works nicely for me as a electric/acoustic guitar amp. I took it out of the original cabinet, and built my own cabinet with 8" speakers.
I also have a Classic 50/50 stereo tube power amp, which I LOVE. It makes anything sound good. I currently run it thru a 4x8" home-made cabinet, in stereo.

hi guys just joined.
ive got a triple xxx original needing retubed and a new model recently also
always been the old ones fan. love the gain tone, if it had a habit of overheating back in the day. also very straight forward. new triple xxx was overpriced new but its very good. simple, but effective and the noise gate with my actives cut out anything i can throw at it. we shall see at high volume. distortion a bit more refined sounding than old, still sounds great but defintlehy a touch smoother. plenty of vents this time. good amp so far1
i had a 6505 combo at one stage but was not a fan. it doesnt quite get as meaty as i would like even with boost. more of a snarl. and also it can just sound like a whirlwing of fuzz when playing a venue with shit sound options

Hi forum noob
This is my first post, I have a silver stripe Bandit 112 Transtube which I bought new in about 1998 or 1999. Since then the mid EQ dial has snapped on the clean channel and I have had to replace the foot switch once but other than that it's still a good amp.
I expect it could be a great amp but despite owning it for almost 20 years I've never properly fiddled with the settings so I find myself a little dissatisfied with the tones.
I intend to sit down one day and properly work it out, so if anyone cares to share any hints and tips on getting a great tone they are very welcome. Just for information I run a MIM Fender Powerhouse Strat into it.
Thanks

I have a classic 30 that I've had for 17 years (got it when I was 13) and today just picked up a MIC red stripe studio pro 112. But I have had tons of peaveys from butchers to prowlers to vtm60.
