jsx replacement??

Post by jackson111 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 5:21 pm

i currently own a vypyr 120. i love it but i am starting to look for an addidtional amp. i had heard that the jsx is an awesome amp, so when i went to try to find one to try. i was bummed to find out it had been discontinued. is there any plans to rename it, and rerelease it? similar to the 5150 and the 6505?

btw the reason i wanted the jsx is because it was modeled after the xxx, which i used to own, and it is one of the best amps i have used. does peavey amke anything similar to the xxx?

The Triple XXX is replaced by the 3120, and the JSX is replaced by the Triple XXX II:

Was there some cosmic reason the xxx II didn't replace the xxx and the 3120 didn't replace the JSX. I just find the naming kind of backwards.

Agree with Bertotti......

Very confusing way to name products.

I agree. It's getting confusing, all these name changes and similar letters.
Primary Gtr: Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR
Backup Gtr: Fender Stratocaster (w/SD Distortions)
Peavey 6505+ (w/6505 straight cab)
Pedals: Dunlop Crybaby, ISP Decimator, Ernie Ball VP Jr. (Front); t.c. electronics Flashback delay (loop)
