Post by Greenlight » Fri Apr 21, 2017 5:55 am

Hi, I was hoping someone could help! Ive got a Peavey Deuce VT 212, and while transporting the amp, have lost the 3.15AT Fuse Holder (and the fuse!). Does anyone know where I could get a replacement holder and fuse that would fit in the UK? Thanks a lot, any help woulkd really be appreciated!

Any electronics supplier can sell you a fuse holder and a fuse.

I can't speak to that specific model production, but companies like Peavey use more than one brand of fuse holder in most cases. And a Busman fuse cap won't fit on a Littelfuse holder body, and vice versa. Also fuses holders have changed over the years, for safety reasons. Fuses are now more recessed, so you cannot touch the end of one with the cap off. The newer ones don't fit the older ones.

So when someone loses their cap, unless I just happen to have one in my fuse holder drawer, something I stripped from old gear I was scrapping, I have to replace the entire fuse holder. Not a big deal to do.
