Nashville 112 - Pre-EQ Loop mod Bandit 112?

Post by aoresteen » Mon May 22, 2017 10:48 pm

The Nashville 112 has a pre-EQ effects loop and a post-EQ effects loop. Seems useful to me.

Would it be possible to add a pre-EQ effects loop to the SS Bandit 112?

Would this make the Bandit 112 a Nashville 112 using the clean channel? Seems to me that this would be a rather simple mod.

That mod is possible. You would have to put 2 more jacks in the chassis some where and it would only be usable on the clean channel. But you would still have a bandit, not a Nashville. Steel guitars amps are voiced different.

But I suspect there are a lot of steel plays that plug into all kinds of amps. I have a lap steel that I like plugged into every amp I own. But lap steel and pedal steel are two different instruments.
The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.
