Would someone be able to help with a dead channel problem?
I have come into possession of a Peavey 'Classic' amplifier that has been in the family since about 1967. It has two ten's, 6L6GC power tubes (2), and I assume a solid state preamp. The 'Brite' channel is dead--no sound, no hiss, hum, crackle--nothing from either jack with volumes all the way up. The 'Normal' channel is OK. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong, or could you direct me to where I might be able to get some help? Thanks a lot!

Any competent repair shop can help.
As to the circuit, I would apply a signal and trace it through the channel looking for where it disappears. The bright and normal channels run through teh same path except for the first stage of each, so there is a limited area this can be. The schematic has voltages on it. My first suspects are the 2uf 35v little e-caps, and then a bad transistor.
