Re: More Invective Please
There has actually been quite a bit of buzz around it! More than we anticipated, even though we had a feeling it would be well received.
The invective has a ton of features. Just curious, what were the main features that attracted you to this model?

Re: More Invective Please
Hi Roger! Thank you so much for responding.
Yeah, there is a bit of buzz for sure, I'm just not seeing much on the forums yet which is fair since it's not out yet. Sevenstring has the biggest thread; Misha has been doing a marvelous job of communicating.
I'm most attracted to the Invective's versatility and secondarily, its features. I've always loved the 5150/6506 high gain tones, but never felt happy with their cleans. Other amps do high gain quite well and have some nice cleans, so I've been using Mesas (Mark V:25 and TC-50). The Invective seems to give me all three channels I want. A clean channel capable of jazz, blues, pop. A crunch channel capable of blues, rock, and more. And that monster high gain channel. All the boosts and the noise gate are cool too.
I'm very much hoping the clean channel is also pedal friendly. If so, it could have ultimate versatility. I also love that it's MIDI controllable. Honestly, the TC-50 is pretty damn close. It lacks that 6506 "thing" in the high gain though (in fairness it does its own great high gain sound).
The only thing I don't love about the Invective is the look, though I have to admit it's growing on me (I would REALLY love if the controls were black instead of white (custom shop??). You guys look to potentially have a serious winner here.
