Peavey 215 Speaker Enclosure
Have a Peavey 215 Enclosure Base Cabinet 5E-71224 (Twin Speakers) and need to buy a new Amp head for it. Does anyone know wattage of the Speakers. 4 ohm Impedance. Can anyone help with the Wattage

That would appear to be from 1975. Probably any "Mark" head would work good, depending on whether or not the cab has the original speakers and whether or not it is Black Widow equipped would be my general opinion if you're wanting to match a Peavey head to the cab.
you can't have too much bass

I'm looking into one of these old '70s 215 cabs. It has a BW tag on the front; does anyone know which Black Widow model is in there?

Should be two 1502-8 BW's, if I'm not mistaken. There have been several design versions of that speaker, but should all be the same number.

peavey 215d cabs ???? and black widows (the old 1504's).. am refurbishing one as we speak and need info on port mods, dampening and wiring..
I added a few pieces of wood around the vents (all sides but the bottom since the rectangular ports are only about an inch away from the edge) vent(s) length is approx. 2"
Slots are 11" x 3" (each chamber) and also wondering if i should shrink them a little for some drop C (metal) usage?
Wondering if 2 older 1504's (4ohm) wired in series is as good as 2 1502's wired parallel?
Is there any benefit or detriment to putting a cross vent hole(s) between chambers?
just tried this thing this eve, and one of them (the BW 1504's) has a slight buzz, does anyone know what the difference is between the 1504 and the newer 150? DT 4ohm black widows, (i am on the hunt for a replacement now), not sure what the DT means pp
