I came across this guy at a yard sale and scooped it up. It looks to be in decent shape minus the fact that the filter caps are obviously not original and are disconnected. Looks like the rectifier diodes have been replaced too. I'm hoping nothing else got smoked too.
Any info on this? All I can find is a photo of Hartley himself working on one way back in the day! I'm excited to get this amp back up to spec...any schematics available??
Thanks,
Ben

Early Peavey Dyna-Bass find!
Re: Early Peavey Dyna-Bass find!
If you contact customer service at the factory, they might have an owner manual, though this one is really early. The schematics are hand drawn, it is that early a model. They can send you that as well, though I will try to post it here in a moment.
It is a very basic transistor amplifier, and should be no problem to repair as long as the transformer is OK. And I have no reason to think it is bad.

Re: Early Peavey Dyna-Bass find!
would you ever consider selling it? if so, i would love to throw my hat into the ring.

Thanks Enzo those drawings are a great help!
@ derrickcook1994
I would consider selling it or maybe putting together a trade of some sort since it won't really be an everyday player for me regardless. I don't really know what a fair value would be on it. I'm in the market for a T40 bass as mine needs a refret pretty bad.

Mr. btartsa only was on three posts, and hasn't logged on since september. I doubt he is seeing your messages.
