New owner of an old Peavey amp,
https://photos.app.goo.gl/qYCPJ16DjZmEC96J3
Would like to get the schematics before I open it up and sort it out.
Can anyone help identify the model and/or approx. year of mfg? The only thing close to a serial number is a small metal tag brad nailed to the case (see pic).
I'm going to go for a long shot now and ask if anyone has the schematic for this old gal?
Thanks in Advance,
Richard

ID Old DynaBass?
Re: ID Old DynaBass?
I am sure if you were to call customer service at Peavey, they would fix you up pronto, but I have it, so here:
Looks like it was drawn by HArtley hisself.

Re: ID Old DynaBass?
Thanks for the schematics. The power amp appears correct but the preamp is definitely not (different transistors and # of devices, plus no LDR, which I assume would be for a tremolo circuit). This amp has '67 and '68 date code power transistors, if this helps. Funny, the hand-drawn parts layout page does appear correct for the pre-amps...
Re: ID Old DynaBass?
Transistors are flexible, we could see any number of alternative transistor types.
Call customer service. I have in my mind this is the only remaining drawing file, but I could be wrong. This one should be close.
Here is the cross ref for semis, it shows many alternative numbers, but be aware there are MANY more that work fine they could have used.
