Headliner 1000 bass head

Post by Honey daddy » Sun Aug 13, 2017 10:19 am

Can anyone tell me why the Headliner 1000 shows 200W on the back of the amp as well as: 1000W rms @4 ohms? Is this amp a 200 watt amp at 8 ohms?

Power printed on an amp by the power cord is how much power it USES from the wall outlet, in this case up to 200 watts. Power printed by the speaker connections is output power, in this case 1000 watts at 4 ohms.

Ok. Thank you. I'm considering purchasing one to drive my Ampeg 410 HLF. You think this will be sufficient?
