Preamp/ power amp jacks

Post by James3348 » Sat Sep 02, 2017 11:25 am

I bought a old stereo chorus 212 recently and noticed jacks for pre and poweramp on the back. Im not familiar with these so I was hoping someone could explain there uses to me. Is there anyway to use these as a makeshift effects loop? I appreciate any information you guys might be able to give me

You already have the answer. It is an FX loop. Don't over think it. Use it as you would any FX loop.

Ahhhh, im used to fx loops being labeled send and return. Would you suggest using the dry or mix jacks?

Ah, you did say Stereo Chorus, didn't you. That complicates it a bit. Depends what you want to do. I might use the mix out and a y cord to both powr amp as a return. But experiment.
