Re: Peavey T-60
Nice purchase! I'm interested in a left-handed T-60 guitar. I can't find it. Do you know if they exist?

Re: "Re felting" Peavey T-60 case
I also would like to know this.clichejacques wrote:Hey y'all, I just got my very first t-60 last week. Someone sold me 3 guitars for $100 and one was a beat up 1981 t-60. After peeling what must have been the felt from the case off the body, polishing up the metal and replacing both switches and the truss rod cover I threw some strings on and tried it out. I do agree that they are heavy and the neck is thin but the tones and the phase capability are incredible! It became my gigging guitar instantly.
I'd like to bring everything back to it's original form. the guitar is but I need to "re felt" the case somehow. Does anybody have any suggestions?
BTW, not all T-60s are heavy. I got a used white one that weighs about 8lbs.

Supposedly, T-60 bodies painted with solid colors were often made of Poplar (and thus much lighter than the Northern Ash bodies).

Do I have something? I have a 78 T-60 with patent pending on the headstock. I called Peavey a long time ago and they dated it to Sept 78 if I remember right. It's pretty much mint, I've just stored it for more that 18 years.
