Got an interesting piece of Peavey history here. Comes with the Peavey hardshell case, instruction manual, and a letter signed by John Fields of Peavey (see pic).
This "Limited" was built by the late Mike Powers in the Leakesville plant as a dealer/sales rep demo guitar around the time the Custom Shop was getting started. Bill Xavier asked Mike to build it to show off the new "Tiger Eye" finish. Since it was built before the official start of the "Limited" series, it has no serial number. You'll notice the headstock is a slightly different color than the production Limiteds. It has Van Zandt pickups that Bill selected; the final pickups in the production Limiteds are based on these.
It originally had three Van Zandt pickups but I changed the bridge one out to a DiMarzio ProTrack for a little more bite; the original one is included though. It has typical play marks and a couple of clear coat dings that I tried to capture. Be glad to answer any questions!
