Peavey Predator with Logo Pickups?
I just ran across a great deal on a nice USA Peavey Predator. It is SSS pickup configuration and the thing that caught my eye is that the pickups have the Peavey logo on them, which I have never seen before. I don`t have the guitar with me, but the serial number when I looked it up, showed it was made in 91. Was there anything unique to these guitars, as I have never seen that on Peaveys before. Thanks

Welcome uneasy_rider72!
I think that was only seen on the very early, newly designed, strat shaped Predators, around 1991.
I'm guessing it has the script Peavey logo on the headstock, also.

Never saw a Predator like that... but there was a Falcon with Peavey logo active pickups:

Definately not active pups, has the pole pieces exposed like stocks, just has the logo. Quite hot at that, but I have always loved the tones of the Peavey USA pickups. I also have a 91 Tracer holoflash with the Kahler FR trem. Best playing axe in my arsenal (and I have a few)!Lee60 wrote:Never saw a Predator like that... but there was a Falcon with Peavey logo active pickups:

Re: Peavey Predator with Logo Pickups?
Is there some super secret way to post pics on here? I am on 20 other forums and it is pretty easy. I do not have a button to attach anything on my end here. Not sure if I am missing something?

Pretty easy to add pictures. After logging in and hitting "POST A REPLY", look beneath the text box and you'll see two tabs - OPTIONS and ATTACHMENTS. Hit ATTACHMENTS and ADD FILES. Pretty simple compared to most places that require a website URL pointer IMO. YMMV

I don`t seem to have that option, maybe it is a minimum post thing, since I am new?bondedbybrick wrote:Pretty easy to add pictures. This is interesting as I do not appear to see any of those, even after logging out and back in. What browser are you using? Maybe post a screenshot?bondedbybrick wrote:Interesting..... At the bottom of the thread lists (after logging in), I see:

Re: Peavey Predator with Logo Pickups?
Disregard my previous post. I had to go to a specific forum, but I do see those options once I'm there.

I'm using a laptop running Windows 7, with FireFox 53.0.3. In a pinch, I would contact [email protected] for help........
