They should all be up on the Peavey website soon. In the meantime, here is something I can share. All colors also available in stop tail.

I can not tell you what a lift it brought to my heart to see Peavey make a guitar in this country. It was depressing when they left. I can only hope that we will have more Custom shop USA guitars to come.

Is it ok to ask what the status is of the HP2's from Peavey getting to retailers?
I keep getting the run around from Sweetwater regarding the availability or eta. I ordered back in July. Not sure what to do.

They are shipping, but we don't just spit these out. They are being built one at a time by a relatively small team.
Honestly we were expecting a good response to these, but it was far better than expected. There were a LOT of initial orders, so it will take a bit more time to fill them all. A good problem to have IMO, but we did get caught a little off guard.
Hopefully the response to these will be sustained, and not just an initial buzz and then a big drop off. We are all very excited to be building these in the US again. If it does keep going, we will be able to invest in more equipment AND personnel. As things stand now, the typical lead time on them is at least 90 days.

At the end of the day, this wait is a good thing. People excited to buy Peavey USA guitars. I look forward to my HP2.

Re: Go to peaveys website see hp2
Ordering mine today from our local Myrtle Beach authorized Peavey Dealer. Feels good to actually walk into a store and order. Nothing against online companies, but that feeling of buying a USA made Peavey from my guy down the street is just unmatched. Thank you Peavey team! Deep Ocean...maybe by Christmas. Well worth the wait. Oh, I guess the Invective will have to wait 'till next year. So pumped about this...had to share. Off I go!
Sound Systems Inc gets a mention here for being my local Peavey hookup!

I ordered a Black one yesterday
I am a huge Peavey supporter and a big fan of Hartley and his wisdom and knowledge.
When I was a kid my brother and I shared a sears les paul japanese knock off with a Peavey Bandit amp with the scorpion speaker built like a TANK
Today I have a 6505 MH running into 2 Peavey 1x12 cabs with the celestion Greenbacks so the HP2 will round off the full Peavey Rig

It’s pretty disappointing that these are taking so long to produce. I ordered mine through a dealer / friend in July not long after NAMM and still no sign of it shipping from Peavey. I’m

I just noticed Sweetwater shows "Available Soon" as the status for all but one of the models.
That should mean they have a tracking number for the guitars, should be receiving a shipment very soon. Of course how many they get, that's the most important question.

Sweetwater's site has said this since the HP2 was initially posted. I ordered my Deep Ocean on 7/20/17 and nothing either. I get a feeling that Deep Ocean was the most popular color on preorder and its going to be a while. From the initial September shipment date to "hopefully" by Christmas is a long time to wait...FrankM5150 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:24 amI just noticed Sweetwater shows "Available Soon" as the status for all but one of the models.

On Monday, Sweetwater rep told me there was a "shipment from Peavey coming in a few days", then I got an email yesterday saying straight up, "I'm not showing our shipment arrived, we are currently waiting on a eta update from Peavey". Lol, so it was a phantom shipment? C'mon man. This is getting old.Stratty316 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 11:56 amSweetwater's site has said this since the HP2 was initially posted. Yeah, I'm just hoping that the wait isn't much longer and that its worth it. Since its being "hand built by a small team" I have some lofty quality expectations at this point.FrankM5150 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2017 12:10 pmOn Monday, Sweetwater rep told me there was a "shipment from Peavey coming in a few days", then I got an email yesterday saying straight up, "I'm not showing our shipment arrived, we are currently waiting on a eta update from Peavey". Re: Go to peaveys website see hp2
My local Peavey store (where I ordered the HP2), told me on Friday, it's possible by Christmas. I purchased it Oct 7th. I do not mind waiting at all. I know it's going to be worth it. So, approximately 90+ days and that is what we were told from the start. I'm good with it. It will be a nice Christmas gift! I know the quality will be top notch. So glad they are back to making guitars in the USA.
My feeling is; that will continue with more lines being made here. They'll have their "entry level" stuff made in Asia, but top of the line Peavey quality is back where it belongs. Just my opinion. The response for this was/is amazing. More good things to come for sure...
