Part of me thinks they chose that style just to f**k with EVH and FMIC... I hope Peavey sells a bunch of these!

Fingers crossed for a thinline/semi-hollow version of the HP2!!
Current Peavey roster:

I just pre-ordered mine on Sweetwater. The Deep Ocean Floyd Rose model.

I really cant afford it at the moment, but I really want to support Peavey USA. Ill just have to put in some more hours at the second job. Ill also be selling my EVH Wolfgang Special Japan guitar soon to help pay for the Peavey USA.

Do we know if these come with cases by the way?

They wouldn't happen to have the Loc Block that came on the HP Specials do they? I didn't see them mentioned.

It doesn't need one. The trem sits flush with the body.

I can't wait till they get into the stores so I can try this beast out. Hopefully the stores around me will carry this cause most of them carry nothing but basically low-end axes

HERE HERE...I smdh at Peavey's decision to call a Wolfgang an HP2

Any information on when the new HP2 will be available for order at Guitar Center?

Od, because in pics I see online there is definitely a rout under the LFR bridge

There is a slight recess, but definitely not a rout. The trem sits flush, so what you see must be some trick of the light in the photo.

a slight recess I would refer to as a rout as well. A router routed this recess. The bridge sits flush on the bottom of this recess then, no ability to pull it up?

Just curious....the HP2 is I guess just starting to land at the dealers but why is there no mention about it on the website? When you go to the electric guitars there is nothing.

Are the pickups the same spec as the Wolfgang pickups or the HP Special pickups. I personally prefer the Wolf pickups although I can see why others may prefer the HP.
