After ruining my paint twice at the clearcoat stage I decided to have a professional paint it for me. I've also swapped out the neck for one that didn't need a bunch of fret work. I will post pics once I get it back. My $55 bass ended up costing a bit more...hah. But it has been fun.
I still haven't had time to figure out the wiring, this looks different than a single pickup bass with 1vol + 1 tone control; but that might be that it isn't wired correctly. It plays but I feel it's quieter than it should be and the volume cuts out before it should.

I wanted to post this here as I said I would.
Looks great and sounds great, shortly after this picture was taken my 16 month old son swung an instrument cable and put a nice chip/ding underneath the bridge. He is why I can't have nice things.

My old foundation is all beat up thinking of stripping her down back interested to see the timber

55.00 is an awesome deal.
There is one at a guitar shop near me just like it (factory red paint) very beat up and they are asking 199.00!!!!
