Hi. I am new to this forum. I still have my first bass, a T-40. I got it in 1983 when I was 15. I've been dragging it around with me for years and it's spent some time in attics. It's been packed in the original hard shell case with no strings for many years. It still looks like it is in good shape, but I would have to string it to see what the pickups sound like.
I'm trying to figure out whether or not to restore it or sell it to an enthusiast to be restored or used for parts. I would like to restore it, but I think I'd rather have something different for a second bass. Any advice out there?
Anyone interested in buying it?
Thanks,
Alan

how much would you want for it? where are you located?

Unless something is broke, restoration should just be a cleaning. Leave it original.
