Peavy Project 2 Still Going

Post by BiGdUsTy » Tue Sep 17, 2013 5:04 am

Still kicking at shows every weekend. MF1-X's still have original drivers in them. MB-2 & FH-1 have new modern baskets on original BW magnets.

Nice! They always were the perfect height for side fills! What are you using to power them?

We use 4 of those for outdoor shows. They all still have the original speakers in them also. They sound great but they are heavy, still love to hear them rocking. Mine have the date 1978 on them. seventies music through 70's speakers.

Hey,

Upping this old subject, but little question : what do you use to amplify your Project 2 ?
I'm going to buy 2 Project 2 stacks but I don't really know what to use to amplify them...
Is an amplifier that kicks 2x 1200 W @ 4 Ohm enough ?

Thank you,
Pascal
