Thanks Doug, that helps.

There are stock crossovers and the left works fine, the right is now more dull after blasting them...

One thing that does blow my mind is the potential of the woofers with no crossover. When I first go them I hooked them up directly and these things actually can hit pretty high tones as well as some detailed low sounds. I actually wanted the horn loaded design for home stereo purposes.
I'm am debating just selling them now that I see all this trouble with them. The tweeters work now, but the crossover thing frustrates me.

Peavey says $22 to rebuild them , but I thought about recapping them. These were a trial thing, but they are replacing K horns so...

Alright, I have decided to either fix up my old cross overs or just buy new.

I would really like to be able to just replace the capacitors on my old boards.

I need help finding the parts online.

I want to make them 2,000hz crossover at 8ohms both the horn and woofer.

That's not a stock combo, so I don't know what caps to pick if they have to change value due to the resistors on the board.

Originally the woofer was 4 ohm now 8 so I want 8 ohms.

Someone please post the right parts?

I've decided to try 2000k cross over at the 12db 8ohms.

Can someone please post up the proper capacitors for me so I can order them? I need a set for both speakers and all 4 need to be 8 ohms and 12db.

Thank you,

This is what I found...

1st Order Butterworth

2000 Hertz

8 Ohm Tweeter / 8 Ohm Woofer
Parts List
Capacitors
C1 = 9.94 uF
Inductors
L1 = 0.64 mH
