I asked earlier about crossovers and now I have got some picked out.
I wish I could find some with the pad built in, but either way I'm fine with adjustable as well.
Now I was going to order and then seen that for a 15" woofer the cabinet can affect things too, so should I stay below 1600hz cross point?
15" BW 1505ka
CH-2 horn with xt upgrade
I think 800 hz is too low to cross for the XT horn too right? So that is why I am thinking 1200 to 160hz crossover.
so would you do eminence 800 or 1600 for home music not band use.
sp-3 cabinet crossover point?
Re: sp-3 cabinet crossover point?
Okay I want to thank all of the people that helped me on this in my other thread.
I finally got the crossovers I like in and have them sounding real good. I can't believe how far off they were with the old crossovers. It cost a little more than I would like but I bought some heavy duty jbl crossovers and they added so much bass and clarity its insane.
I would like to know know if it would help to put some of the polyfill in these cabs or is that something that will dampen the sound?
