I was running the XTI's in bridge mode, one XTI 4000 for each 218. I was running the XTI 2000's in bridge mode, one XTI for each woofer of the QW2's.
I was running the Peavey IPR 1600 in stereo mode, one channel for each horn on the QW2's. I was using the VSX26 as the SMS. Worked great. The 2000's and 4000's are rated right at program for the speakers. The IPR ran the horns very close to peak.

Thank you for your input I will definetly try that I've heard a lot of conflicting stories about running in bridge mode is not a good idea.

According to all my research, on this forum and in other places, 4 ohm bridge mode on the XTI's do not necessarily create amplifier issues unless of course the clip lights on the amps start to flicker or go full. The XTI's run very comfortably in 4 ohm bridge. 2 ohm? Risky business.

Did you give it up completely ? Good thing I didn't see this earlier. You would have been headed back to my house.
