pv215d conversion

Post by acd8189 » Wed Jan 22, 2020 1:41 pm

has anyone converted the PV215d powered to unpowered? One of mine blew a capacitor in it and the replacement parts are almost as much as what I paid for the speaker. I just want to know that if its do able, that I do it correctly.

I'm certain that it can be done, but I can't tell you exactly which wires to dis-connect at which junction. I would have to do it hands-on. Some of these other guys can probably tell you exactly where to dis-connect from the speaker's built-in amp and where to connect to your external amp. Just wait a few days and someone will see your post.
