Ed, well, I earned the Crest PROs through study, knowledge and quite frankly, a lot of my forum responses and persistence in solving issues. That's been over 5 years in the making. Peavey Engineering thought I would be a good beta tester with those qualities. I hope when the final product comes out, my recommendations have been implemented to some degree or another.

Now, the IPR^2-7500s I ordered last June.
My credit card was billed Friday.
I want to think that means they are en route.

I will let y'all know as soon as I lay my hands on them.
Cheers,
Steve

Just wondering - did you actually order IPR2s back last June or did you mean IPRs ? I see vendors are posting photos of both styles now, even Peavey. Very curious as to what you get.

I ordered IPR-7500s last June.
I don't think IPR-7500s will ever exist past the beta/mock up stage, and I believe that IPR2-7500s are what's coming.

We'll see.

UPS left a note on my door, stating they needed a signature for two parcels.
The return address was Meridian MS.

Of course, no UPS deliveries Sat or Sun so their next delivery attempt will be on Monday and I will be away starting Sunday.

In my area you can leave a note with your signature on it and they can leave it in your garage/entry way/or trusted neighbor? etc. I have also left a note before to have them leave it at the terminal to pick up later.
If that doesn't work I'll send you my address and you can have them forwarded to me! I'll even take the hit and pay the extra shipping :D
Enjoy the new power and let us of course know your take on them!

Taking Dookie's advice, I called UPS HQ and they put me in touch with my local distribution point.
The truck from my neighborhood wasn't due in until 1845 or so, and they were open until 2000 if I wanted to come by during that window.
I got to my gig early, got setup and then was at UPS by 1915. On the way in, my local driver was just leaving the terminal to go home...she stopped, turned around to face me and then she greeted me by name, apologized for missing me at my house (?!) and then told me that my two parcels were already staged in the pickup area.
THAT's Customer Service!
I was in and out in 90 seconds and back at the gig in plenty of time.

I opened one and took a really crappy cell phone picture of it.
It's too pretty to leave that picture up. More pics Saturday.....along with my OOB narrative.
May '12 to April '13. Almost as bad as waiting until NEXT Christmas to get the gift you wanted.

Alright, it's late - time to hit the rack.
Cheers,
