XRD 680

Post by rae » Sat May 20, 2017 6:33 am

Hei
I have a power amp.
All the fuses are good...I replaced all of them to be sure.
There are 3. 2 in and one main.

Only the tweeters are working the horn and the speaker are not working.
Is there something that can fail in the amp?

Why I thought it is the amp?
Channel 1 does not send any signal to the speakers.
Channel 2 sends only high frequencies...
Could it be a crossover issue?

I live on an island so it is a little difficult to troubleshoot with other speakers. And a long way from any major cities. Only by boat.

The rca tape out to monitors produces all frequencies.
Thanks

Try the speakers with some other amp, you problem sounds more like the speakers than the amp.

Hmm... XRD 680 is an 8-Channel powered mixer. It came in 4 models. Which one do you have?

XRD 680 ?
XRD 680 Plus ?
XRD 680 S ?
XRD 680 S with added power amp ?
